Provides interpreter and language services to individuals with limited English ability. Supports clients in understanding and taking part in the court process. Assigns qualified court interpreters at no cost to clients for all mandated case types including:
- Criminal
- Traffic
- Juvenile Justice
- Juvenile Dependency
- Unlawful Detainer (evictions)
- Child Support cases handled by the Department of Child Support Services
- Domestic Violence Restraining Orders
- Civil Harassment Restraining Orders
- Probate:
- Elder or Dependent Adult Restraining Orders (involving physical abuse or neglect)
- Mental Health Conservatorship (LPS)
- Guardianship
- Conservatorship
