Provides a full range of adoption services. Includes relinquishment counseling for biological parents, recruitment, assessment, and approval of adoptive parents. Matches children with applicants. Coordinates post-adoption inquiries from adult adoptees and biological parents wishing to reunite.
Provides placement and supervision of children in foster care. Conducts licensing of foster homes. The Foster/Adopt program works with resource families (foster families) caring for foster children. These families are given priority if those children later become eligible for adoption.
