Provides a school-based gardening program that integrates nutrition and natural science into hands-on agricultural activities. Offers garden-based science education, plant propagation, composting instruction, school meal harvesting, and garden crafting. Kindergarten through 4th grade students receive 50-minute classes every week. Preschoolers also have regular visits from our garden teacher.

Transportation services are available for participants who would otherwise be unable to attend. Provides lunch and meals for holidays and special events.

Also offers Citizenship and legal assistance to Russian immigrants. Provides assistance with immigration law, and provides referrals for conservatorships, Holocaust survivor restitution claims, and disabilities issues.

Provides food to individuals and families in need. The pantry offers food staples (such as rice, beans, bread, and cereals) and fresh produce. Food distribution is subject to availability. 

Manages senior center programs, activities, and events. Provides citizenship classes, tablet classes, health, and nutrition workshops. Offers exercise classes, cooking classes, dancing lessons, games, bingo, arts, and crafts. Serves senior lunch.

PARENTING: Provides positive parenting educational classes, support groups, and individual coaching sessions. Administers free summer lunches for children.

FOOD: Provides food distribution services to community members.

MENTAL HEALTH: Offers free mental health counseling, advocacy, and emotional support for youth, families, and individuals. Assists participants with developing healthy coping mechanisms and stress management techniques.

LEGAL AND HOUSING: Provides comprehensive housing rights education, personalized case management, advocacy, and counseling for tenants and landlords. Offers mediation, legal case evaluations, document preparation, and representation to resolve housing disputes and evictions.

STORM RECOVERY: Administers storm recovery relief through financial assistance, clean-up tools, and disaster navigation. Provides federal housing navigation support to assist individuals with locating housing options, securing emergency rental assistance, and connecting to community resources.

Provides  emergency rental, mortgage, or utility assistance for residents of the San Lorenzo Valley, Scotts Valley, and Bonny Doon on a case by case basis.

Provides consumer fraud and environmental crimes investigation. Offers consumer fraud protection from deceptive business practices. Accepts reports of consumer fraud and environmental violations.
