Victim Services Division
Adult Protective Services (APS)
Provides 24/7 hotline to report elder or dependent adult abuse. Receives and investigates reports of abuse or neglect related to seniors (age 60 and older) or dependent adults (age 18-59 including self-neglect. Based on assessment, staff develop a plan to protect the rights, interests, safety, and welfare of client.
Provides safety and protection for adults who are experiencing or are at risk of:
- Physical injury
- Sexual abuse
- Poor nutrition
- Dehydration
- Untreated medical conditions
- Misuse of medicines
- Abandonment or general neglect
Aging and Disability Resource Center
Offers assistance with filling out forms, translations, and referrals to other services. Provides the general public information and assistance on issues affecting older people and people with disabilities.
