Provides in-person and virtual mental health education courses for English and Spanish speaking community members, individuals living with mental health conditions, and their families. Services include:

-Peer-to-Peer/De Persona a Persona: 8 week educational program for adults (ages 18 and older) with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery. Offered in English and Spanish.

-Family-to-Family/De Familia a Familia: 8 week educational program for family, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions. Offered in English and Spanish.

-NAMI Basics: 6 week education program for parents, caregivers and other family who provide care for youth (ages 22 and younger) who are experiencing mental health symptoms. Offered in English and Spanish.

-Provider Education: 15 hour interactive training for mental health professionals on collaborative treatment models, psychiatric recovery stages, and coping strategies.

Provides advocacy, support, information, and resources to parents of children with a disability.

Provides fire protection, emergency rescue, medical services, and hazardous materials response.

Provides healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance for income eligible households. Offers assistance with enrollment applications. Medi-Cal is the state Medicaid public health insurance program. Anthem Blue Cross, Kaiser Permanente, San Francisco Health Plan are health plan providers.

Mysti’s CA is a Medi-Cal Community Supports and Enhanced Care Management (ECM) provider. We offer:

Utility Bill Assistance:

We can assist eligible clients with utility bills (electricity, gas, and, in some cases, water) as part of housing stabilization and transition services.

Manages benefit thrift stores. Accepts donations of clothing, shoes, bedding, linens, furniture, appliances, computers, and household items. Resells items in support of Goodwill career services programs.

Program assists people experiencing homelessness get a birth certificate.

Provides academic support, counseling, tutoring, and help preparing for college.

Provides comprehensive immigration legal services, consultations, and community advocacy. Assists with naturalization, citizenship applications, green cards, DACA renewals, work permits, and visa petitions. Offers specialized legal support for crime victims, human trafficking survivors, and juveniles.

Provides financial assistance to help eligible recipients pay for home care services. Offers subsidies for preparing meals, bathing, dressing, laundry, shopping, and personal care.

Provides rental assistance when funding is available for income eligible households.

Provides citizenship and immigration clinics. Offers assistance with naturalization applications.

Provides transitional shelter for people at risk or experiencing homelessness. Offers case coordination, financial literacy, life skills, and parenting classes. Assists with housing navigation, employment, and education opportunities.

Provides short-term, supportive, and substance-free residential housing for individuals actively participating in outpatient recovery programs. Offers a structured environment focused on personal accountability, healing, and long-term recovery support.

Provides a free program designed to provide resources and support to help improve outcomes for families formed through kinship care. KSSP Santa Cruz is funded by Santa Cruz County, HSA and offered in collaboration with community-based service providers.

Provides coordinated entry services for adults experiencing homelessness. Offers help with problem solving and connection to community resources.

Operates warehouses for food distribution in partnership with nonprofit organizations and community groups.

Provides after school recreation  for all Pacific School and Pacific Preschool students. Activities include games, sports, snacks, free play, homework, arts and crafts, etc. Preschool students must be picked up by 2:45.

Transitional Kindergarten through Sixth Grade students must be picked up by 5:15. After-school programming is free for income-qualified families and offered at a low daily rate for others.
