Injury-prevention specialist will come to client homes and determine safety needs.  If there is a need for safety items, night lights, bathmats, kitchen timers, and grabber tools can be provided.

If income eligible, free home safety modifications can be arranged.  For those not income-eligible for home safety modifications low-cost, reputable resources are provided. Home modifications may include installation of:

• grab bars

• handrails

• shower chairs

• toilet rails

Provides technology education, digital literacy training, and device troubleshooting for older adults. Offers individual tutoring sessions with volunteer instructors and access to specialized interest groups to build technical skills.

Manages community center programs, activities, and events. Provides sports and recreational programs. Offers exercise and fitness classes.

Provides comprehensive case management, community resource navigation, and information and referrals for individuals experiencing homelessness. Offers health screenings, HIV testing, substance use disorder counseling, and health education services. Supplies basic needs assistance, including hygiene products and pet food.

Distributes financial assistance to income eligible residents when funding is available. Provides financial assistance for rent payments and security deposits. Offers utility payment assistance for gas and electric services. Provides financial assistance to pay general medical expenses.

Manages recreation center programs, activities, and events. Provides sports and recreational activities. Offers art and fitness classes.

Manages benefit thrift stores. Accepts donations of clothing, shoes, bedding, linens, furniture, appliances, computers, and household items. Resells items in support of Goodwill career services programs.
