Serve victims/survivors who are: Currently under supervision (probation/parole);Undocumented;Other Unable to afford a defense attorney, no conflicts with other clients, AND one of the following: currently charged with a crime, facing a juvenile justice allegation, facing involuntary commitment in conservatorship or contempt proeeding, arrested or cited for criminal offense and seeking early representation, seeking record clearance, or actively supervised on PRCS, probation, or parole and facing a violation.

Victim Witness Assistance

Provides victims and witnesses of crimes with orientation to the criminal justice system. Assists with information on the status of a particular cases. Provides court escorts. Also provides restitution to victims for expenses, either by court order or by application to the State Compensation Fund.
